Position/Job Summary

The School of Communications is creating a pool of qualified part-time lecturers in the Strategic Communication Department for possible openings in the fall and spring of academic year 2017-2018.

Position/Job Qualifications

Applicants are required to hold a master’s degree; Ph.D. and college teaching experience preferred. A bachelor’s degree and professional experience will be considered for some disciples.

The Department of Strategic Communication: The Roy H. Park School of Communications at Ithaca College is committed to providing students a liberal arts education within a professional program. The Department of Strategic Communication offers three undergraduate degrees: Communication Management and Design (CMD), Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) and Sports Media. CMD is a unique interdisciplinary bachelor of science program, which integrates corporate communication and communication design. IMC (a joint program with the School of Business) is an innovative bachelor of science program, which teaches students about the fields of advertising, public relations, sales promotion, and direct/interactive marketing.
